Needs catalogue
What retailers ask for, in their own words, and the answer for each: can you build it today, by which door, from which recipe and sample, and what to tell the customer. Start here when a customer sends you a list of needs. Plan a project shows the whole path from that list to a release.
Type the need in the search box at the top of the page, find it in the A to Z list below (the customer's own words), or browse by area (each grouped by topic), by verdict or by door. Each card's verdict is one of four words: Ready · Ready, with limits (tell the customer each limit) · Not yet (it needs a new extension point or product work: the card says what to ask for) · Not possible (it breaks one of the four rules: the card says what to do instead). A need with no card: ask us. At a terminal, python3 tools/needs/needs.py search <words> finds a card by its words, and the site's catalogue.json holds every card for an assistant.
