A store's list of web orders to pick and hand over

The customer asks: Click and collect — the store sees which web orders to pick and which customers are coming to collect

What you build

A manifest: a Report Builder report of the web orders still to pick, two fields on the delivery note that can be set after it is submitted, Handed over (a list column and filter: the Delivery Note list filtered on Status To Bill or Completed, Is Return No, % Returned less than 100, Handed over No, Customer's Purchase Order No set, the store's warehouse and a date on or after the install is the waiting list) and Collected by, and a workspace that opens both. A web order is an order with the web shop's order number. Nothing leaves the shop.

Limits

Tell the customer

Each store gets a Desk board of the web orders to pick and the customers coming to collect, and records each hand-over on the delivery note.

What next

  1. Tell the customer the 7 limits above, and write them into the proposal.
  2. Follow the recipe: Click and collect: a Desk board of web orders.
  3. Copy the sample: S33 — Click and collect (pp_ccb): a Desk board for web orders, and change it.
  4. Build and test it on your sandbox (request one if you have none; what is on it).
  5. Run the checks: your own tests, the kit's checks and the money kit's release gate (testing and release).
  6. Release through the customer's own release gate (14. Testing and release); an app other shops install goes through the App library.

Install it on your sandbox the way the shop's administrator will; the checker refuses a manifest that declares code.
