What you build
A label layout the shop declares or your manifest installs (HTML, or Zebra printer commands); the till prints it from an item's card or a basket line, on any printer the device reaches.
Limits
- Labels from the back office and from Handheld print through a desktop utility.
Tell the customer
Stores print labels from the till; the back office uses the desktop utility.
What next
- Tell the customer the 1 limit above, and write it into the proposal.
- Start from: Label layout.
- Build and test it on your sandbox (request one if you have none; what is on it).
- Run the checks: your own tests, the kit's checks and the money kit's release gate (testing and release).
- Release through the customer's own release gate (14. Testing and release); an app other shops install goes through the App library.
