Selling below the minimum price needs a manager
The customer asks: Selling below the minimum price needs a manager's approval
- Verdict: Ready, with limits (2)
- Door: Check before payment · area: Till controls and approvals › Manager approvals
- Recipe: Several till rules in one app, with the shop's own settings (till guard rules)
- Sample: S23 — Till guard rules (a check before payment and a capture on scan, one app)
- Checked: carried 2026-10-16 · not re-run
What you build
Your service compares each line's price with the minimum in the check before payment and answers approve when one is below it.
Limits
- Answered when the cashier presses Pay, not when the line is entered.
- A manager who is not the cashier signs in on the till to approve. Approval by e-mail has no door.
Tell the customer
A sale with a line below the minimum price waits at Pay until a manager approves it on the till.
What next
- Tell the customer the 2 limits above, and write them into the proposal.
- Follow the recipe: Several till rules in one app, with the shop's own settings (till guard rules).
- Copy the sample: S23 — Till guard rules (a check before payment and a capture on scan, one app), and change it.
- Build and test it on your sandbox (request one if you have none; what is on it).
- Run the checks: your own tests, the kit's checks and the money kit's release gate (testing and release).
- Release through the customer's own release gate (14. Testing and release); an app other shops install goes through the App library.
Test it with your service stopped: the till applies the answer you declared for when it is down.
